Happy Fathers Day

I would like to take this time and wish all the Dads out there a very Happy Fathers Day!
Dads remember the awesome responsibility you have to raise your children to be productive members of society and not some liberal progressive sucking all the government money paid for by the hard working American citizens. Teach them to honor God, Country and Family.
Do I hear an AMEN.

Think Warm Thoughts

It's cold outside and the Cross Creek RV Park Lake is froze over, I break the ice daily so the two ducks I have left will survive the hungry predetors.

Counting down to 58 days to the official start of Spring and looking forward to seeing the Cross Creek Seasonals in February I think of warm campfire thoughts. Feb 19th. the group meets here at the Oar House Cabin for fun and fellowship.

The 19th is also the Mardi-Gras Pub Crawl here at the Lake of the Ozarks. 18 buses will safely transport participants to 17 bars & restaurants. The buses start running at 4pm and the cost is only $5.00 per person. And it includes drop off/pick up at participating hotels.

A hint of Fall

I recently had a visit from my two grandson's, and oh ya, their mommy and daddy to! They were here in early September and happened to get a few great shots of the leaves starting to show that Fall is setting it's way in!

This first photo is a shot taken from the lake here at the campground looking up towards the RV sites.

The second photo is of our 5 ducks making their way to land with the Survivor Island in the background. The weather has been beautiful the past month, getting to the upper 70's during the day and the upper 50's in the evening.

It's been slowly cooling off since then. Take a look at these photos of the campground.

We are gearing up for our 2nd annual Halloween Party on October 30th. We will be offering Hay Rides, Campfire fun with ghost stories, and roasted marshmallows. We will also be having a Pot Luck Dinner, and Haunted Party in the Pavilion.

Call to reserve your campsite or Cabin today. 1-888-250-3885
